I grew up in Borehamwood and after leaving school, my first job as a trainee dental nurse was in a local dental practice. I then went on to train and qualify at Eastmans Dental Hospital in London, as a Dental Surgery Assistant in 1986 and then as a Dental Hygienist in 1988.
Treating patients holistically with a kind and gentle approach, I gained a lot of experience from treating dental phobic patients while working at a dental sedation clinic in London. I have also worked extensively in Hertfordshire and joined Dental Studios in 1991. In 2015 I was presented with an award from Wrigley Oral Healthcare Programme and British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy for designing the patient tool ‘Hooked on Oral Hygiene ‘. I now live in St Albans, and enjoy gardening, local history and dressmaking.!
